ABSTRACT

Objective@#To explore the implementation of the WeChat platform combined with family participation in the health management of dyslipidemia.@*Methods@#A total of 100 patients with dyslipidemia who underwent physical examination in the Health Management Center of Chongqing General Hospital from March to August 2017 were selected. Participants were divided into an intervention and control group by independent registration, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine health guidance and telephone follow-ups. The intervention group underwent the health management mode of the WeChat platform combined with family participation beginning in September for six months. Dyslipidemia was managed through joint participation of family members and medical care, and the professional health management and medical team conducted real-time consultation, monitoring, follow-ups, and answered questions. A t-test was performed to compare total cholesterol, triacylglycerol, and LDL cholesterol in the two groups, and a χ2 test was used to compare improvements in living habits in the two groups.@*Results@#There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After 6 months of intervention, fasting total cholesterol (6.18±0.93) mmol/L, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (2.96±0.67) mmol/L and triglyceride (2.20±0.35) mmol/L were all lower in the intervention group than in the control group (7.17±1.07) mmol/L, (3.26±0.57) mmol/L and (2.41±0.36) mmol/L, respectively, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). After 6 months of intervention, the proportion of people in the intervention group (18% irregular diet, 22% lack of exercise, 26% insomnia, 14% smoking and 18% drinking) was significantly lower than that in the control group (58% irregular diet, 74% lack of exercise, 54% insomnia, 38% smoking and 42% drinking), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).@*Conclusions@#Dyslipidemia is closely related to living habits. Through the help of the WeChat platform, family members and medical staff can participate together and effectively improve the living habits of people with dyslipidemia, so as to improve the indicators of lipid metabolism.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effects of leptin on Treg cells and the possible mecha-nism. Methods Leptin-deficient ( ob/ob) mice and homologous wild-type mice were used in this study. The percentages of Treg cells in spleen tissues and peripheral blood samples were measured by flow cytometry ( FCM) . Differences in Treg cell functionality were compared between the two groups. Splenic CD4+T cells, separated from the ob/ob mice and the wild-type mice by magnetic beads, were respectively cultured with leptin and anti-leptin neutralization antibody to evaluate the effects of leptin on Treg cells. Quantitative real-time PCR was performed to analyze the expression of Treg cell-related cytokines at transcriptional level. The levels of IL-10 and TGF-β in the supernatants of CD4+T cell culture were measured with Luminex technolo-gy. Results Compared with the wild-type mice, the ob/ob mice showed higher percentages of Treg cells in both peripheral blood samples and spleen tissues [(11. 56 ± 0. 72)% vs (5. 47 ± 0. 81)%, (10. 16 ± 0.93)% vs (6.29±0. 69)%]. Treg cells isolated from the ob/ob mice had stronger immunosuppressive effects on the proliferation of effector T ( Teff) cells and the secretion of TNF-α and IFN-γ than those from the wild-type mice [TNF-α:(1. 6±0. 2)% vs (2. 4±0. 5)%, IFN-γ:(4. 3±0. 3)% vs (7. 2±1. 2)%]. The percentages of Treg cells were decreased from (12. 2±1. 8)% to (7. 6±0. 9)% upon the in vitro treat-ment of CD4+ T cells from the ob/ob mice with leptin and the immunosuppressive effects of Treg cells were also weakened. However, the percentages of Treg cells were increased from (7. 8±0. 85)% to (13. 1± 1. 5)% upon the in vitro treatment of CD4+T cells from the wild-type mice with anti-leptin antibody and the immunosuppressive effects of Treg cells were improved as well. Moreover, the expression of Foxp3, IL-10 and TGF-β at transcriptional level and the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β in the ob/ob group were higher than those in the wild-type group. Conclusions Leptin deficiency significantly promoted the generation of Treg cells in mice and resulted in an increased expression of Foxp3, IL-10 and TGF-βat mRNA level and elevat-ed levels of IL-10 and TGF-β. The treatment of CD4+T cells with leptin might inhibit the generation of Treg cells through down-regulating the transcription of Foxp3, IL-10 and TGF-β.

ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the distribution and antimicrobial resistance of pathogens causing wound in-fection in army officers and soldiers following military training injury, and provide reference for antimicrobial use in clinical anti-infection treatment. Methods Wound secretion from injured army patients who were admitted to a mili-tary hospital between January 2014 and June 2015 was performed bacterial culture and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Results 647 pathogenic bacteria strains were isolated from 1 029 wound secretion specimens ,isolation rate was 62.88%,the top 6 isolated bacteria were Staphylococcus aureus (S .aureus ,29.99%,n =194),Escherichia coli (E.coli,19.32%,n=125),Pseudomonas aeruginosa (19.17%,n=124),Enterococcus spp .(13.60%,n=88), Klebsiella pneumoniae (K .pneumoniae ,7.73%,n =50),and Acinetobacter baumannii (A.baumannii,5.87%, n=38).S .aureus and Enterococcus spp .had high susceptibility to vancomycin, linezolid ,and daptomycin (resist-ance rates ≤3.41 %),44.33% of S .aureus were methicillin-resistant,2.27% of Enterococcus spp .were vancomy-cin-resistant .E.coli and K .pneumoniae had high susceptibility rates to piperacillin/ tazobactam (resistance rates were 1 .60% and 0 respectively),except A.baumannii, resistance rates of gram-negative bacteria to carbapenems were all low (resistance rates ≤4.00%).Conclusion Military clinicians should select appropriate antimicrobial agents according to antimicrobial susceptibility testing results, reduce the disability rate due to infection in trauma patients, and provide clinical support for the treatment of the wounded.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the changes and clinical significance of the coagulation function after mitral valve replace‐ment (MVR) .Methods 163 cases of MVR admitted in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2014 were included in the obser‐vation group and contemporaneous 163 individuals of healthy physical examination were selected as the control group .The pro‐thrombin time (PT) ,activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT ) ,fibrinogen concentration (FIB) ,thrombin time (TT ) and pro‐thrombin time international normalized ratio (INR) in the two groups were detected and the detected results were performed the statistically comparative analysis .Results PT ,APTT and INR in the majority of the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group ,the differences had statistical significance (P < 0 .05) .Conclusion The regular determination of blood coagulation function after MVR can effectively reflect the disorder status of anticoagulant and coagulation mechanism ,and can improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment and clinical predictive value .

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the concentrations of formaldehyde in newly decorated apartments. Methods In this study we monitored the concentrations of formaldehyde in indoor air of 28 newly decorated apartments and offices and furnishings. In order to analysis the correlation between formaldehyde concentration of indoor air and personal exposure level, 17 persons' exposure levels were measured by personal air monitoring in 2 offices. Results The medians of formaldehyde concentrations in indoor air and furnishings were 0.062 mg/m3 and 0.260 mg/m3 respectively. The concentration of formaldehyde in furniture was significantly higher than that in indoor air (Z=-5.098,P
